My artwork
Green sketching is at the heart of my artwork. Nearly all my paintings and illustrations start off as doodles inspired by my joy-spotting adventures.
I am particularly fascinated by nature’s colours and have a soft spot for trees, blossom and tiny birds.
As a self-taught artist, I’m lucky to have had so many wonderful opportunities. I’ve designed a bespoke range of cards for the National Trust, undertaken multiple commissions, been short-listed by John Lewis and sold my artwork internationally.
And it was nothing short of a dream come true to be given the opportunity to illustrate the cover of my book The Green Sketching Handbook.

I’m passionate about the benefits of nature and creativity and enjoy collaborating with schools, mental health and environmental organisations.
